Virtual Hearings

As the courts have begun to reopen, there are fewer and fewer virtual or computer hearings but they still exist.  If you have received a notice that your hearing is "by video" you will be provided information to participate by video (if you have the ability) or by calling in by phone.  Please be aware that when you participate by video or by phone, the entire "courtroom", in other words, everyone on the call or video can hear you unless you mute your microphone.   If you are participating by video, there is a microphone button you can push to mute your microphone so the participants cannot hear you or what is going on around you.  If you are calling in, you have to push *6 to mute your call and *6 again to unmute to allow the court to hear you.  Remember, when you call or video in, it is like you are standing beside everyone in the courtroom.  Act and talk appropriately.
