Here is how to use that site:

-First click:  "Case Search"

-Next: Input your Last Name and First Name into the boxes as well as selecting Black Hawk County at the pulldown box towards the bottom of the page. 

-Click the "I am not a robot" box and click "Search"

-The cases are organized by type and if you know your case number you can click on it. If you do not know your case number you can look at the "Initiated Date" of the case and find the one that is around the date of your incident.

-When you find the case you are looking for, click on it then click on the "Filings" tab. This will show you any upcoming court dates or filings to be aware of.

- Click on "Parties" at the top of the screen to see who your attorney is.  Your attorney's name will appear on the left and show "Attorney for Defendant" under "Role".  In addition, your attorney's name will appear below yours on this page once an attorney has entered an appearance on your behalf.
